I DUVESSA BEAUTY CONTEST

Registration

  • Is I Duvessa still open for entry?
    • Yes! I Duvessa has been expanded so more teams can win, allowing for Round 1 entry throughout 2011.
  • How do I enter? Where do I sign up?
    • All I Duvessa Contest information is available on the main page of I Duvessa Contest at Outre.com. Click Register and the site will ask you for information of models and stylists. You will need an email and your partners' information before completing registration
  • Who can enter? Eligibility?
    • Anyone over 18 and a resident of the contiguous United States may enter. You must enter as a team of two, one stylist and one hair model. Duvessa Remi hair must be worn in the 2nd round to be eligible. Further information can be found under contest rules and regulations on the I Duvessa contest page.
  • Who can vote?
    • Friends, family, and other contestants may register on Outre.com to vote in the I Duvessa contest. An email address is necessary to register, but otherwise there is no limitation to voter registry.
  • When can I register until?
    • Contestants may enter the contest throughout 2011 and close at midnight December 31st 2011. Voters may register to vote until the closing of I Duvessa
  • Where is the contest held?
    • I Duvessa is an online contest that will be held at Outre.com. Information may be found through posters, direct mail, email and Facebook, and other social media, but all updates and changes in status will be directed from the I Duvessa landing site.

Pictures

  • Where do I upload pictures?
    • Pictures should be uploaded on your personal profile page that can only be accessed and edited through the user name created by you and your teammate.
  • What should my picture be?
    • Of your two (2) uploaded pictures, which are necessary to collect votes, one should be of your head, clearly showing your hair, and one of your full body from your head to your feet. Nudity, pornography, or any other type of inappropriate image or language will automatically disqualify you.

Teams

  • Can nonprofessional stylists and models enter?
    • Yes. You do not have to work professionally in a salon or a modeling agency to qualify for the contest. If you like to do or wear hair, or just have so much style you need to flaunt it, then you are qualified to enter I Duvessa.
  • How do I make a team?
    • Grab a friend or sister, a colleague, a classmate, your stylist, your customer, you mother, your aunt. If one of you can do the others hair, then you have a model and a stylist. Just fill out the appropriate sections in registration and tad a! you have a team.
  • Why do I need to enter as a team? Can I enter alone?
    • I Duvessa was created to promote teamwork between stylists and hair models, and will not allow for single person teams. Find a friend and have some fun, you can both do each others' hair and choose the better one to submit pictures.
  • What if I discontinue working with my team partner?
    • Unfortunately, we cannot allow disbanded teams to continue in the contest because of the prizes. If you have completed Round 2 and have advanced to the next level, then it is up to you to split the prize and figure out distribution between team members. If you cannot resolve then Outre will not be able to continue and will pass you over in favor of another qualified team.

Duvessa Remi Hair

  • What is Duvessa hair?
    • Duvessa is the newest line of Remi human hair from Outre. It is created with enhanced selective techniques to bring you beautiful Remi hair you can afford. Duvessa is designed to last longer without tangling or breaking, and to last longer through normal styling and wear, so you can work your styles without worry.
  • Where can I buy Duvessa Remi?
    • Duvessa Remi is hitting stores in select cities in 2011, but will be available in all beauty supply shops shortly. If you enter I Duvessa and advance to Round 2, you will receive 2 packages of Duvessa FREE to use and take pictures of for the next round.
  • What if my Duvessa hair has not arrived?
    • If you have received notice that you have won the 1st Round of I Duvessa, but your Duvessa Remi has not arrived in the mail, contact us immediately at marketing@outre.com. If your package still has not arrived within three weeks we will send you another package in the mail. You will not be disqualified or penalized for being unable to upload Round 2 photos.
  • Can Duvessa be dyed, cut, or heat treated?
    • Yes, Duvessa Remi is quality human hair that can be dyed and styled with heat (curlers, irons). For the competition photos you may style your hair any way you like, we recommend that Duvessa not be excessively permed or heat treated, just like any other hair.
  • Do contestants need to use Duvessa hair?
    • Yes, to be eligible for I Duvessa contestants in Round 2 must use Duvessa hair in the picture. One of the two photos requires you to take a picture holding the Duvessa package to prove that you have received and are using the provided Duvessa Remi you were mailed. Round 1 contestants do NOT have to use Duvessa hair as it will not yet be available for them to use, although other Outre brands are recommended.

Prizes

  • What are the prizes?
    • I Duvessa will have 10 winning teams by January 2012, with a $1,000 cash prize per team. At the end of the monthly prizes, the Grand Prize winner and 2nd Place winner will be chosen out of all qualified Round 2 winners. Thousands will win Duvessa Remi hair in Round 1 and 10 lucky voters will win an Apple iPod Touch.
  • When do prizes come out? When are winners announced?
    • Round 1 winners will be announced on outre.com each week as teams reach 100 votes. Round 1 prizes will be mailed out after winners have been determined each week and should arrive within 2 weeks. Round 2 Monthly Winners will be announced on outre.com the week after the last day of each month and prizes should be expected within the next two weeks, depending on your location in the United States. Round 2 winners will be announced on outre.com/contest and on the Outre Facebook fan page.
